Living the Dream with Giant Pro Carl Decker

Carl Decker is a professional mountain bike racer, Giant sponsored team rider, and longtime friend of Factory Bike.  He’s had the good fortune not only to have a long and successful career in mountain biking, but also to live in this awesome house outside of Bend, OR!  Enjoy his sweet digs and casual sense of humor in this special production of “MTB Cribs” on Pinkbike!

Winning the Bike Wars!

Dedicated bike lanes continue to prove their worth the the communities that build them.  Former N.Y. City Transportation Commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan tells her own story of the extensive battles she had to fight to bring bike lanes to her city, often fought against critics who didn’t even know why they were fighting.  Thanks to dedicated proponents like her and her allies, bike trails DO happen, and everyone ends up winning.

East Shore Bike Trail

We’re excited to see construction begin on the long awaited bike trail from Incline Village to Sand Harbor. The funding is in, the plan is approved, and the project is expected to break ground this summer.  This section of bike trail along the East Shore of Lake Tahoe will certainly be beautiful, and also a welcome addition to the growing network of bike lanes around the Tahoe area.
